Even with the usual Match 3 mechanics in play, the gardening aspect is a nice touch to things. For one, it’s a gardening-based game, which makes it different from other similar titles that feature jewels, candies, cupcakes, and the like. Overall, I think Homescapes is better. We’ve been featuring a lot of Gardenscapes: New Acres lately, and that’s because Playrix has come up with a Match 3 game that truly stands out from many other ones we’ve seen in recent times. I tend to get 30+ moves on challenge levels, and I have a much higher success rate with those challenge levels than with Gardenscapes'. Homescapes on the other hand, actually gives you decent moves on these levels. I know Gardenscapes is famous for giving many boosters, but you're always just going to use all those boosters up.Ībout the challenge levels as well, I rarely am ever able to beat a challenge level from Gardenscapes, they always give you 10 moves and FIVE colours to beat those levels, and I can't see them ever being doable. I get that's the case with Homescapes too, but, I have no idea, I just find it easier. ![]() Past level 100, Gardenscapes' levels become really tedious. I also tend to pass levels in Homescapes much faster than in Gardenscapes. Gardenscapes honestly looks long outdated, and the art style always blends Homescapes' and Gardenscapes', and it looks so inconsistent. It has a better story and a much more appealing art style.
